Joloko, an Afro-Caribbean restaurant known for its bold flavors and vibrant personality, approached us in search of a fresh, creative way to showcase their menu. What began as a simple flat-lay concept quickly evolved into a fashion-inspired editorial shoot full of color, texture, and imagination. We brought their ingredients to life using fresh produce, sand, cocktails, fabrics, and plenty of spontaneous crafting—resulting in a dynamic visual story that captured the soul, spice, and spirit of Joloko’s Afro-Caribbean cuisine in a completely unexpected way.

From their pineapple-pomfret starter and cocktail sunrise to chili cheesecake, jerk chicken, ox tongue, square tequila doughnut, and jackfruit tamales, each dish was reimagined through bold colors, expressive styling, and artful composition.
